Why does everything, every experience, regardless of how mundane, seem to represent all of my questions and wonderings... and of course this blog is no exception.

So i am stuck here questioning, as i am sure many other bloggers are when they are at the beginning.... what is the point?  Why blog?  I mean is this just a self-absorbed, expression of the "me" generation.....or is this the opportunity for shared wisdom and deep self expression?

I guess the answer is quite simply yes.

Time to rely on the wisdom of others now, here is one of my favorites Rainer Maria Rilke, from letters to a young poet,
"have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer."

I liked your question: “I mean is this just a self-absorbed, expression of the 'me' generation…..or is this the opportunity for shared wisdom and deep self expression?”

I think that much of the popularity of blogging has its root in an ego-thing, but even so, it can be fun to play around with. And as with most things it is the intention that matters. What level of consciousness and authenticity does the written material come from?

It can be an opportunity to many things on the relative plane. :-)

If Christ had not blogged where would we be… If Buddha had not blogged where would we be… if all the folks who have had wisdom to share… has sat quietly and never whispered a word… where would we be…

Blog on sister friend, share, share, share

A blog is an object what matters is the depth of the subject/person writing the blog and hopefully the person reading the blog shares a depth or we perspective.  If they do not it probably won't resonate with them anyway.
